Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q. How do I book a nanny?

Bookings can be made through our official website, by email, or by phone. You can also scan the QR code featured on our brochures or website for instant access.

We recommend starting with a Free Discovery Chat to discuss your family’s needs, or a Parent Consultation with one of our qualified educators for tailored support.
Consultation fees are redeemable toward your first booking.

Q. Can I meet the nanny beforehand?

Yes. We can arrange a short introduction either virtually or in person before your booking.
This allows you to feel confident and ensures the nanny understands your child’s routines and personality.

Q. Are your nannies qualified?

All Little Nest nannies are qualified Early Childhood Educators or experienced professional nannies with current certifications in:

  • First Aid & CPR

  • Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management

  • Safe Sleep Practices

  • Working With Children Checks

Each nanny is carefully vetted to meet our high standards of professionalism, safety, and genuine care.

Q. Do your nannies follow our family’s routines?

Absolutely. We encourage parents to share their child’s daily routines, meal preferences, and comfort habits so care feels seamless and familiar.
Our nannies follow your family’s schedule closely to ensure consistency, comfort, and trust.

Q. What if my plans run late?

We understand that plans can change unexpectedly.
Should care extend beyond your booked time, an hourly extension fee of $65 will apply.
Extensions are billed in 30-minute increments and are subject to nanny availability.

Q. Can I book last-minute?

Yes. We can accommodate last-minute and urgent bookings, particularly for hotel guests.
Availability depends on our roster, so we recommend booking early whenever possible.

Q. Do you provide in-house and out-house care?

Yes. We offer both in-house care and out-house care.
Out-house care may include additional travel costs depending on the location and duration.
All costs are outlined clearly before confirmation to ensure transparency and trust.

Q. Can the nanny travel or attend excursions with us?

Yes. Little Nest Premium Care offers travel and excursion support for families who wish to have their nanny accompany them during trips, holidays, or special events.
Families are kindly asked to provide the nanny’s transport, meals, and accommodation throughout the booking.
For out-house care, excursions, or trips, any related expenses such as transportation, entry tickets, or parking costs are to be covered by the parent.
Travel arrangements should be discussed and confirmed in advance to ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience for everyone.

Q. How do I know my child is safe?

Your child’s safety is our top priority. Every nanny follows safe-sleep guidelines, supervision standards, and maintains open communication with parents throughout the booking.
You’re welcome to check in by message or call at any time for peace of mind.

Q. Do you provide updates during care?

Yes. Nannies can send brief updates or photos (with consent) to help parents feel connected while they’re away.
You can let us know your preferred level of communication before the session begins.

Q. Can I request the same nanny again?

Yes, we always try to match returning families with the same nanny for continuity, comfort, and familiarity.
Repeat bookings are warmly welcomed and prioritised where possible.
