Little Nest’s Terms & Conditions

At Little Nest, we are dedicated to providing nurturing, professional, and high-quality childcare that prioritises the wellbeing and safety of every child. By booking our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

Booking & Confirmation

All bookings are confirmed once full payment has been received.

Bookings are subject to nanny and schedule availability.

Little Nest reserves the right to decline or reschedule a booking if required to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the booking start time: Full refund, minus any processing fees.

Cancellations made within 24–48 hours: 50% of the booking fee will be charged.

Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows: Full booking fee will be charged.

Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability.

Child Safety & Wellbeing

All Little Nest nannies hold valid Working With Children Checks, First Aid & CPR certifications, and follow Red Nose safe sleep practices.

Parents/guardians must disclose all relevant details regarding their child’s medical conditions, allergies, or special needs prior to the booking.

An emergency contact must be available for the duration of care.

Nannies reserve the right to contact parents if a child becomes unwell, distressed, or unsafe beyond reasonable management.

Parent & Guardian Responsibilities

  • Provide all essential items for the child’s comfort (e.g., nappies, formula, bottles, clothing, comfort toys, bedtime items).

    Share clear instructions regarding routines, dietary needs, and any medical directions.

    Remain contactable by phone throughout the booking period.

Additional Children & Extended Hours

Standard rates apply for care of up to two children.

Additional children incur an extra hourly fee.

  • Overtime charges apply for care that extends beyond the originally booked period.

Liability & Insurance

  • Little Nest maintains comprehensive Public Liability Insurance.

  • While every precaution is taken, Little Nest is not liable for accidents, illnesses, or unforeseen events beyond reasonable control.

  • Partner hotels and venues assume no responsibility for external childcare services provided by Little Nest.

Payment Terms

  • Full payment is required prior to or at the commencement of service.

  • Public holiday surcharges may apply and will be communicated before confirmation.

  • Payments must be made through approved booking or payment platforms.

Privacy & Confidentiality

  • All personal information shared with Little Nest including child routines, medical information, and family contacts is treated as strictly confidential and used solely to deliver safe, personalised care.

  • Little Nest will not share client information with third parties unless required by law.

Photography & Social Media

  • Nannies will not take or share photos/videos of children without written parental consent.

  • Little Nest does not post images of children or families on social media without explicit, written permission.

Health & Medical Care

  • Parents must disclose all relevant health information, including allergies and medical conditions.

  • Nannies will only administer medication with written instructions from a medical practitioner, signed by the parent/guardian.

  • In the event of a medical emergency, nannies are authorised to call an ambulance and notify parents immediately. All associated costs are the responsibility of the parent/guardian.

Code of Conduct

  • Little Nest nannies provide warm, respectful, and age-appropriate care at all times.

  • Physical punishment or any form of inappropriate discipline is strictly prohibited.

  • Parents must ensure the care environment is safe, hygienic, and suitable for childcare services.

Public Holidays

  • Bookings on public holidays may incur a surcharge, which will be disclosed prior to confirmation.

Child Safety Commitment

Little Nest operates in alignment with the NSW Child Safe Standards, ensuring that:

  • Children’s wellbeing is prioritised in every decision.

  • All nannies are qualified, screened, and certified (WWCC, First Aid/CPR).

  • Safe, inclusive, and supportive environments are maintained.

  • Transparent communication is upheld with all families.

We are committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, trust, and professionalism in every service we provide.

Dispute Resolution

In the rare event of a concern or dispute, families are encouraged to contact Little Nest directly. We are committed to resolving all matters with fairness, professionalism, and respect.

Acceptance of Terms

By booking with Little Nest, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
